Meditate
Whether you chose to do a guided meditation, listen to some binaural beats, or lie down in silence, you will benefit from the increased energy flow during a remote Reiki session.
A few minutes before your session, find a quiet space to sit or lay down. You can listen to a guided meditation or soothing music if you'd like. I have links to a few favorites on my reiki prep page if you would like some suggestions.
During your session, open your heart and mind to allow the energy to go where it is needed. Reiki energy is powerful, and you may feel/sense it moving around your body and personal energy field. Don't be alarmed, all energy activated during sessions is safe and intended for your highest good.
After your session, I will send you a text as you ease yourself out of the serene reiki meditative state, before calling to chat about what came through during your session. These chats are a key part of your healing journey, this is where we identify and discuss issues, blockages, and how to move forward with compassion and courage.
Drink clean water before and after your session to fully incorporate the energy that is transmuting. Reiki is a catalyst for healing and self discovery, the work will continue to unfold after the session and will be different for each person.
What brought me to this place in my own journey was by healing a chronic illness that I had been battling for over a decade. Through meditation, and the study of esoterica, I was led down a path that continues to open up new possibilities. I went from being at a place where my disease defined me, where I was becoming an agoraphobe who could no longer relate to anyone, to completely healed and symptom free. A few years after being diagnosed, I slipped into a deep depression that nearly took my life. When all traditional methods to deal with my depression, gripping anxiety, and incredibly draining and debilitating autoimmune disease failed, I had given up... I now have a love for life that continues to grow and amaze me. I do not cling to life and someone else's idea of what it should be, but wake up each morning with joy and true, unbridled excitement about what is around the corner, waiting to unfold. Part of what brings me joy is to give support to anyone who desires a more fulfilling life experience. If you feel like something is off; then it is. You never need to feel wanting; you have enough, you do enough, you are enough. That is what brought me to Reiki. Anyone who is ready to live life pain free, and without shame - your delicious, exciting, and wonderful life is here, waiting for you to claim it. It is your birthright.
Reiki healing will strengthen the connection to your higher self, and with that, all of humanity. That sounds dramatic, but that's the way I see it. As you begin to see and love who you truly are, you cannot help but see and love everyone you come into contact with. At first, your ego will still see people the way you've been programmed to see them... to place judgement. With practice, and a heart full of love, you can break through the old habits and into a new world of possibilities.
I find that Reiki is most effective when you and I work together; me channeling the energy, you meditating and receiving it. All my Reiki work is intended for the receiver's highest, most loving good, and to be received when the person is willing and able to receive it. Simply being in a state of stillness strengthens your connection to Source; this can be achieved while listening to a guided meditation, going for a walk, or even sitting alone with yourself. With practice, you can find stillness in any situation.
